That's some of the finest shoddy craftsmanship this side of the Spokane river. Used @BartMaster1234's trans cooler brackets and some random 90° braces I had along with an old kitchen tabletop to block off this doorway I never use.

She can probably jump that but I'm banking on object permanence or a lack thereof saving me, she may not remember there's a window in there.

I would've spent no less that $250 on doing that.

I've got issues when it comes to spending money at home improvement stores.

Looking at tap and die sets. Any recommendations?

Is it better to buy a big set or just the individual sizes you need?

    I don't expect to use it a ton but I don't want one-time-use junk.

Only 2 ton engine hoist at Harbor Freight had been dropped off a shelf and the box was shredded. I decided against purchasing it because I couldn't tell if all the hardware was there. Next shipment is August 22nd they said. I picked up the load balancer and engine stand today still.

I've used Irwin taps and HF dies

hF dies worked fine for cleaning up existing hardware but I'm not sure I'd use them to cut new threads lol

Broke the alternator belt on the crawler. Sounded like a rod knock for about 10 seconds before it let loose lol
