The reason for my original post is to see how many on here have a 2 wheel drive compared to 4 wheel drive. The model or style is not important.

I didnt need 4wd. I dont go off roading, thats what my dirt bike is for. I got a great deal on a 2wd with insane low miles. So i got it.

And to who ever said if a truck is not 4x4 it's worthless...thats a pretty dam ignorant statement. Can i put my dirt bike in the back of a
4x4 4runner, or a 4x4 suburban? No. How about a grill and 3 mountain bikes? No.

So i figure my truck is extreamly useful, even though it is 2wd, with street tires... and LOWERED:devil:

4x4. I am surprised by the results of this thread since the majority of the time I see a Tacoma on the road it is a pre-runner. And when looking for my truck it was a hard find because every lot I steped foot on had maybe 1 or 2 4x4's compared to 10-20 pre-runners. Not that I need the 4x4 or use it that much, I like knowing it is there when I need it. I have always wanted a Yota 4x4, and if I was trading to a smaller truck from a Hemi, It had to be for a 4x4.

4x4 I live in PA, but if you live somewhere that weather is not a problem, then why not go 4x2...

4x4. My Taco was my first truck and I was torn between 4x2 and 4x4. Ultimately went with the 4x4 and am so glad I did, especially after this winter. If I lived in a warmer climate 2wd would be fine, but up here in the Northeast, 4wd is where it's at.

The roads here are poorly maintained, so purchasing a 4x4 was a foregone conclusion...
