Started off this morning clean the outside portion of the ac unit again, second time this year. It hasn't shut off since about 10 AM this morning.
On to the Corvette, bolted in the drive-shaft and tighten the third- member mounting bolts and poly bushing. Went to dry fit the water pump and it doesn't clear the timing chain cover. I bought the correct water pump for '68 model figuring when the 350 GM performance parts crate engine was put in that they kept the pulleys and such original. Terry the guy I bought it from told me just get the long style pump...oops:anonymous: anyways the pulley wouldn't even go on the pump, so now it's time to order more parts. Over the years much of the accessories were robbed off of the car for other vehicles.
Have the transmission from old Dodge all tore down and making good progress on that. Main hold up going back together with transmission will be ordering the correct waves snap rings.
In all a good productive day:thumbsup:

Electrician asked what I was going to do when I had my garage built.
    I have a 60amp panel.
Not necessarily the amps your drawing, it’s the available circuits that can be installed
and protected. The stuff I have added would have filled a 30. I have room to expand.
Plus I have 220 for my welder.
Better to have it and not use it than down the road wish you had it and turn a simple job
Into a nightmare. Difference at the time of install is a no brainer.

I saw it once many years ago, it was cool seeing it that close yesterday. We saw a Modern Marvels episode the other day about blimps so Cole was telling us all about it :D

Good morning :hattip:I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

    If you don’t mind:
A “local” restaurant (about 20 miles away) is closing today.

It’s been a go to place of ours since we moved to the sticks about 20 years ago and before when we would vacation in the area. Terrific owners and staff. Good food though the beer selection was always suspect :p Met a ton of interesting and unique people over the years.

I’ll be making the run over there for the last time today :pout:

Support your local businesses as best you can. If you can’t leave a positive review on social media, consider not leaving a review at all. Radicalization and unreasonableness of the general public were factors in their decision to close.

    Thanks for listening…

I couldn’t imagine running a business, especially a restaurant, in todays world. I know the old saying of “The customer is always right” no longer applies to a lot of customers.

Not only support your local businesses, but TIP CASH whenever you can directly to the personnel who were helpful. Most work abysmal hours, low employer pay, and non-existent benefits. Tips on cards help too, but some places keep them, split amongst all staff including a house cut, or at best a return to staff (although some make them eat the card fee (3-5% of total bill)). Happy staff will help a business prosper more than most other forms of advertising.
There is a Revell model of the Goodyear blimp (I had one) that has the legendary side light signs. My son enjoyed it, but didn’t take up my model hobby. I used to laugh when the blimp would cover events at the Louisiana Superdome… because it’s a dome. You can’t see inside from the sky. It’s like having a symbolic flyover…
Pool pumps? Hayward… I’m a Super Pump II fan myself.

While I agree with @NoOne about tipping in cash, I'd venture to guess that a solid chunk of Americans don't have one dollar in cash in their wallets and havent in awhile. Everything is swipe swipe swipe. I haven't forgotten about being stuck in a wrecked van on the wrong side of Memphis when a fitty spot saved us. I'll tuck a hundo behind my license because cash talks and swipety swipe only gets you so far.
