    Hello guys/gals!

I’ve been running the Magnuson since March, and about 8k miles. And various “Stryker” tunes on my truck for the last 6-7k miles I’ve finally done a longer distance towing test with the setup. I am not running the “+” tune, as I feel it’s a little too aggressive for me, especially when towing. But, to each their own! The power while towing is now incredible, I prefer the Tacoma now over my V8 powered GX. My camper isn’t the heaviest thing out there (3,150dry/3,800GVWR) but it has some serious wind resistance as it sits pretty tall. I climbed to 5,600’ along the Blue Ridge Parkway and had zero issues with power, in fact I don’t ever think I was more that 1/4 throttle and the truck was just a joy to drive. This trip was about 750mi round trip, and I averaged about 10MPG. I’m fairly heavy with full skids, sliders, roof rack, and 285’s. So, I’ll take what I can get! If you’re towing, and have the means to get the Magnuson/Stryker, I cannot recommend it enough, and the guys over at YotaWerx have been incredible to deal with! Camper is a 2021.5 GeoPro 19FD.

Sounds like a lot of fussing. Think at that point would just buy a Tundra.

I came from a full size truck, had zero needs for it. The Tacoma is the size I want/need, but I just wanted more power.

Still sounds like a pain in the ass. As they say different strokes for different folks. Not much into modding and dicking around with vehicles trying to make it into something it is not. All that fucking around and getting only 10 mpg? That is unacceptable. Honestly sounds like you bought the wrong truck for the job.

Diesel Colorado then, plenty of power and will fetch decent fuel consumption while doing it.

Nice clean rig. What have you done with the suspension and brakes?
My Airstream 23FB was about 4800# before I did some mods, so a little heavier than yours, but much more aero and lower center of gravity.
50 watts solar and 400ah lithium, rear bike rack and a 2 1/2 inch lift.

I just ordered the supercharger. I'll be towing my Airstream (without the motorcycle in the picture) from NJ to San Diego once the upgrade is in place.
I've done the round trip twice without.

On top of a well modded TRD Sport, I've done a lot of recent upgrades for this trip.
More roadable tires instead of the all season mud tires.
Added a bluetooth enabled compressor to adjust my Firestone Airbags.
Added pop & lock rear tailgate un-locker and Garmin dashcam. Fixed my front camera.
Added lots of molle panels and accessories.

    Pending installs:
    Front Sumo springs.
Upgraded front brakes, rotors and pads.
Expedition Essentials ash mount for Ram mounts (iPad and iPhone)
Rotopax mount and 1.75 gallon Gas can onto side of Leer shell.
    Rago Fab center console panel.
Various switches and truck accessory fuse panel finally mounted.

    Possible install:
50 watt GMRS radio with external whip antenna.
    Side window tinting.
    Diode Dynamics fog lights.
