    Sounds like a line from Hogan's Hero's.

Right, In Hogan's Hero's it was Shultz that would say "I know nothing!" Laugh-in was Artie saying "Very interesting - but not very funny!" which was funny in and of itself. "It's an area which we call, the Twilight Zone." :threadjacked:

Love the Classic's. They just don't make TV like that anymore.
We had 3 channels and there was always something to watch. Now I have 300 and can't find a damn thing on.

I’m coming up on 66 years old and when I was young we had 4 channels of B&W TV. We were the first house on the block to get a color TV. I love the “classics” like F Troop, Rat Patrol, Time Tunnel, etc and have many of them on DVD. I too have a bazillion channels available but find myself going back to the classics for good old mindless entertainment.

I'll have an update on Toyota's response tomorrow when I'm back in the office. I hate trying to poke on a phone

Being retire nearly 70 in a few months, i watch the mash, and gunsmoke re-runs every week.
As far as F troop, i felt our snowmobile crew was a living part of it back in the 70's when we started doing bag trips across quebec. We were as green as could be, plus there was a severe language barrier at that time. We spent much of the days getting lost till 4 in the morning finally making it to the next destination. Then it was catch 3 hrs of sleep, and start the next day over.

For B&W TV, choices included: 3-stooges, popeye, bugs bunny, lost-in-space, bullwinkle and friends, twilight zone, voyage to the bottom of the sea, wild wild west, bonanza, perry mason, hogan's heroes, and probably my favorite: johnny quest... No wait, my favorite were the Apollo missions and I watched most of those all day and all night - THAT was my favorite (hence the LEM "avatar" on the left). everything now seems to fail in comparison. We didn't watch much TV though: we'd play outside all day until it got dark, we'd build bicycles from what we could salvage at the dump, beer cans back then were not aluminum and made excellent tennis ball bazooka launchers, we had small cannons, mini-bikes and bb/pellet guns and fishing. Life was really good for kids back then.

As far as b&w's, the andy griffith show is still on cable every week day here. I use to like watching the rifleman with chuck conners, and don't forget sea hunt, and flipper.
