    Reference my thread 8/6/22 - 4WD Problems.
I ran a Vehicle Diagnostic and came up with a P0705 code - Transmisson range sensor circuit (PRNDL) input. (Neutral Safety Switch) Will this problem cause the problem I presented with the 4WD locking up in 4Lo?

It can, the 4wd ECU has to see a neutral signal to shift into and out of 4low. Does it beep when trying to shift?

No. It does nothing. I will replace the neutral safety switch as soon as I get it. Easy fix, I hope. Thanks for your help.

Typically it will beep if it doesn't see the correct conditions for a shift.
