Got back from Colorado on Sunday. Had to hit the Ozarks trails to do some exploring this weekend. It was ready to go at it again yesterday.

My kid drove the Imogene switchbacks as 1 point turns. He said that driving firetrucks gave him a feel for knowing how far to make a tight turn. Having a short turning radius helps.

Knowing where you are and where you want to be is the game. The other part of the game is knowing the turning radius of a particular vehicle. It may sound stupid but even on easy trails I play little games. If I see a small rock I'll try and miss it with a driver tire then put the rear tire on it. Do that a few hundred times and you start to know, within an inch, of where your tires actually are. It's the main reason I rarely take a spot. I know my rig very, very well.

Yeah it would be really easy to stock up on a bunch of stuff, but it’s really nice to know it’s there. I could spend hours cutting and drilling, or I could spend 20 bucks. Hmmmmmm

Yeah, it’s definitely a time vs money thing. If I had a plasma, I think I would probably just get a big plate and cut stuff out of that as needed, right now my best bet there is a jigsaw and that suuuucks.

Do love my plasma, but it's only going to be as straight as you can make it by use of straight edges, etc.

This in my own opinion, didn't come out half bad.

I'm an idiot though cause I'm here trying to keep everything within a 1/16" of an inch (cause it's what I'm used to) using tools that don't exactly allow that

Anyway, posted pics of the rear face on my thread.

Honestly it has potential now. Someday I still want to make a truck bed trailer.

If that's not the worst part, you could guarantee you'd lock yourself in your own bathroom
