Yep ... I know you do. Hope Fickle Witch gives you a break soon.

My question was really for @Plain Jane Taco , heard a blip on radio news that Kentucky is having disaesterous flooding again. Maybe @Bluegrass Taco knows something about it.

 Just realized I'm replying to one "Bill" and tagging two other "Bills."o_O

EDIT: You guys gonna hafta adopt the Roman numeral standard. :cookiemonster:

That's really bad considering the terrain in that region. We had to evacuate from a campground in Pipestem, WV Summer '92 because of heavy rain flash flooding and creek over-running it's banks. Woke up with about 2" water over floor of tent ... up to middle of wheels/hubs on our little Escort wagon by time we got gear thrown in car and outta there. Crazy night I'll never forget.

Yeah, I was scared considering our boys were 2 & 5 years old at the time. I don't think I've camped along a creekbed since then...find higher ground well above creekbed level. #lifelessons ;)

Yes....there has been some additional rain both in the central part and the eastern part of the state. As I've mentioned in other posts, we're pretty secure where I live. Flooding isn't really an issue. But the further east you go, you start getting in the Appalachians.....and the geography is vastly different than here. Flash flooding can be quick and deadly.

    Thanks for the thoughts fellas
