Really regretting getting my TRD Pro wheels in Gunmetal and not bronze. Thanks, @WestEndSal

 

I was on the fence about the gunmetal or bronze. I chose bronze because of the contrast in color with AG. I'm thrilled how it turned out, I love the look.

 

I've got some of the 2010ish 17" T4R 8 hole wheels that I'm going to be paining bronze in the near future. Not sure I've seen them on a taco yet, so it's a big experiment. I got 5 for cheap, so worst case is I sell them. Also thinking about skinny tires and 17" wheels has way more options in an AT.

 

I plan to add Bronze Trail rims in the future Nice looking truck

They say good things come to those who wait. After a 5-month wait, this beauty showed up Thursday. I'm excited to be here and pumped about this elite color. I placed earnest money of $1K back on March 16th. 2022 TRD Sport Premium w/ LED's & DRL's, advanced technology package and premium package. I had a box of accessories that went on this morning. I added the AJT Designs AG key fob, Toyota OEM tubular steps, Toyota OEM bed step, Tacoma OEM bed mat, a few Tufskinz AG inserts in the cab, & Morimoto sequential turn signals. Coming up this week is LLumar ceramic tint.

On a side note - don’t know what you plan on doing with the tires but those open country’s fit that sport like a glove. I put 60 k on a set I had on my 18 and there was still a good bit of tread left when I replaced them with the same tire. Very smooth riding, even wearing tire.

Got lucky and found an AG 22 Sport DCSB that wasnt "spoken for" locally. These are very hard to find around here and when you do, they are snagged up right away. This one is pretty bare bones on the options, which I prefer. Just floor mats/sill protectors, mudguards, and bed light kit. Put down $500 deposit immediately on Friday. ETA is sometime this week. Wish me luck as this deal really hinges on what I can get for my 19 Wrangler Rubicon. Ill follow up with pics soon if all works out.

 

Find yourself a carmax and sell them your Rubicon. They'll give you better deal than dealership will.
