I think the 23 would have given the 4 a run for his money but the 22 was busy holding everyone up before his stuff fell off. Congratulations to Ty Gibbs on a top 10 finish as well!

 

LOL, 3rd means nothing!

 

It means points. Certainly more than 11th place

 

Stands were packed this year. I thought last season had pretty good attendance but this season had way more.

 

It means nothing because those points do not transfer and he has no shot at the regular season title. If it’s not a segment or race win it literally means nothing.

The race was pretty good in person although the last run was kind of boring other than watching the 11 and 45 working their way through the field. Clean air and the high side were definitely the places to be though. The stands were packed and the rain delay was short but very welcome since it cooled down everything.

The real entertainment started at the end though. Got to finally see a burnout since Blanket didn't do one last year. The guy behind us was having the time of his life as he yelled "Yeah Kevin!" every lap of the final run. After the race some random Chase Elliott fan shouted "fuck you" at him for no reason as the 9 fan was walking down the stairs. That started a brief "fuck you" yelling match between them before the 9 fan moved on and the guy's wife told him the 9 fan wasn't worth it and then said, "let's go smoke legally" before they left.

The parking area was another situation. Lots of people flipping one another off for no apparent reason other than trying to exit. One girl went sprinting one way before we saw her again shoving over a trash can and flipping off the shirtless man following her before sprinting away again. Then some guy in a Tesla flipped me off for some reason as he was in the line of cars in front of my parking spot and all I had done was get into my truck and start it. I hadn't even put it in gear or anything. All I could do was laugh. Lol. Fun times!

 

Why are you so emotional man? It’s not my opinion. It’s the way the system is setup. LOL, I am sorry your better day turns out to be meaningless… I am not upset that the 9 sucked today. He is a due a couple bad races. Do you pick a new Toyota driver every race? Shouldn’t you be bent about the 18 re-engineering the accepted method of having all his wheels pointed in the same direction?
