Finally got the rear leafs changed out with some 3rd gen take offs with an aal added.
On a scale of 1-10 the ride quality improvement is a 10 and I was amazed at how much the rear of the truck was sagging before. Nice to have the stance back. 1.75” in the front. 1.5” in the rear.

Old leafs were shot and cracked in multiple locations.

Took about an hour in total. Grille has to be removed. Hardest bit is the lowest retaining screw just inside the front bumper at each corner. Very awkward to reach.

Yesterday I changed the oil and filter at the 5k interval (194.4k) Plugged two holes on one of my tires that was constantly leaking air. Also rotated the wife’s tires on her car. Not a bad day at all.

Today the taco-shmaco is getting a bath as she’s a dirty one!

Plugs today. Not bad. Definitely needed.

Edit: interesting enough, being the only owner, just noticed these are all Denso instead of the typical half NGK.

Yes. You probably need an aal now. 200lbs off the very tail end will change it

Drove the truck to Harbor Freight to buy nitrile gloves because I can't find the box I bought a week ago.

I'm waiting for it to get dark so I can try out my new, new headlight bulbs. I want to go out there and measure my tie rods to compare the left and right but it's 86 degrees (real feel 95) and I don't have shade I can work in.

I'm a fan of the Icon 3 leaf aal pack. Been running them for ~10k and they're pretty smooth. Hit up @memario1214 for them.

Why not? Use the old single wire knob and tube wiring method. You know, back when buildings ran a single hot wire with a drop wire hooked on wherever electrical current was needed that ran to a switch (if desired) then to the appliance (light bulb, toaster, or whatever) and out to the actual ground (soil, earth). Worked fine in a 1905 building, except adding a separate ground circuit to the three wire receptacles ten years ago completely removed the 60 cycle hum from the new sound, video and LED lighting systems that were being installed. Everyone noticed the hum was gone! Nobody missed it!:pray::wave:

Spruce Mica is such a wonderful color. Check out Ripcord's spruce mica truck here on TW or on Insta,
