This may be a long shot, but I am looking to get the new C8 Corvette. Can anyone recommend a good dealership? I went to Freedom Chevy yesterday and they were wanting +$25k over MSRP, which is like a 20-25% markup.

And, so, my first ATX meet in a couple years. Pistons in the Park at Austin's Park and Pizza. Nice place; they even open it up for clean restrooms. All these Toyota, and I don't know a soul or a truck! Finally met up with a couple friends, and made some new ones. I'll be back.

































And, best part of the day, finally getting this parking spot on the way out of town!

Good Morning SA! Well now! We got a very exciting, windy 0.10" of rain yesterday while I was trying to cook. Gave the steak extra rest time before sear. Worth the wait.
Back to ATX again this morning - Dr. threw in a stress test (treadmill) before I go tomorrow, so another trip. Going to find a Good Feet store first, meet up with Mikkel for a lunch, hit the test, and beat feat before rush hour. Then I can go back again tomorrow, for TWO Dr. appointments (delayed from jury duty)!
Enjoyed the show yesterday, and don't forget C&C is coming up Saturday - with the Weinermobile! I'll post their official when I see it.

 

Jury duty. Ac stopped working again. However since I'm on a service plan it should be on their dime. The capacitor was changed and the unit is getting power. So I'll let them figure it out.

 

That sucks, 99% of those service plans are rip offs and slow to respond.

Hope it's an easy fix for ya.

 

Oh yeah there all rip offs but I don't have the time to diy it so gotta pony up the money as painful as it is. Only good thing is that it seems I'll get my moneys worth. I would look more but with the jury thing I could only glance at it and make sure it's getting power, which it is, so that's the HVAC responsibly now.

 

Ick. And ick!

 

Didn't get selected for jury duty. That's a good start. Now if the ac worked....
