Working from home today hanging out with the dogs, hoping the plumber keeps today’s appointment to get everything wrapped up after last week’s appointment got canceled.

AC is cranking already.

stayed at a buddies new off grid house in Maine this weekend, sadly though no electricity means no AC...... rough for sure.

 

Are you expecting the dystopian post-apocalyptic world to be air-conditioned?

 

Well ,I happened to come across some videos of said campground we were due to go to today - not happening . Looks small and terrible . Bad reviews . Oh well saving money . We definitely will be headed to Hammonassett state campground next week though . Already booked . Looks like crappy weather this week in Clinton/ Madison area anyway

 

No solar electric or generator hook ups? Hunting cabin or just a work in process?

I had a car that I looked at on Friday, the intermediate shaft was bad, clunked like crazy although the customer didn't say anything about it.
They approved the repair and I put in the new one in today. It took almost 5 hours to do. The heat today didn't help. I tried everything, even a air hammer.
Usually a hammer and pry bar is all you need and they pop right out. It looked to me that a new rack was put in so the splines were messed up a little. Then when I put the new shaft in, that doesn't want to go on and I had to hammer it on and use a tap for the bolt threads, on a brand new part!

 

Gave the Tacoma a good stretch today.

Went to Brattleboro Vt. to deliver a motorcycle part.

Air running at mid speed, very comfortable in the truck.
As I parked the truck the temp outside the truck indicated 98 deg. in the rearview mirror, part delivered, bs for 45 minutes back in truck headed home, very comfortable in the truck 90 miles each way and the truck didn't hic
up. Seems to like the hot temp.

Stopped the Outlet Store at exit 1 in Vt bought a new pair of sneakers for my birthday. I guess i could say I'm low maintenance

As a side note, i was going to fill-up in Brattleboro but the lowest price that i was near was $4.57 gal. Filled up at home on the Berlin Tpke for $3.99 gal

One plus I like about owning a regular cab is that it cools down pretty quickly and I have to turn the air down because it gets too cold.

Need to find this for access cab. Wonder if could combine this with existing switch to use for only two doors? Any thoughts on that @HAVOC

 

I saw it comes with a passenger side one. Might be able to get 2 and splice it in...

Wonder if it doesn't work for mine because of wiring or just shape? Like I need more projects
