He caught it with a pole we had with a Zebco 33 on it. We just put new 12 lb string on it in the kitchen before we left :D

    Goodmorning crew.
Having 3 day weekends is nice even though the 10hr work days drag out some.
Wife has a Dr appointment in Omaha today but she said she's feeling bad again and is just going to see Dr local.
I'm going to throw some equipment in the back of her truck here shortly and head over to friends house and do a little yard work / grocery run for him.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Also hope my wife gets feeling better, I could tell she's been run down the last couple of days, maybe even the last week. She had blood work done last week and it was down (blood count #'s) but not very much and within standards.
    Yesterday our 23rd wedding anniversary.

I was talking to a meter guy the other day, he said the demand charge around here is ridiculous. He mentioned one guy who had 2 200 amp services on his building and as everything ran to each panel, so when his demand was close on one meter he could swap his shop to the second and start all over again. Cost him 3k for the initial install but he’d spend that in 3 months on the demand charge.

Read some recent post and talk of cash, just a quick thought see on news the other night that average household expenditures has gone up around $500.00 a month! Crazy times....I know my fuel bill went up substantially with 90 mile round trip for work.
Good thing to enjoy the simple things in life sometimes....it don't cost a fortune to re-string a old zebco and stop at a local pond...nice looking catch!

Typically (around here anyways) the homeowner can get away with installing whatever they want, but an electrician has to install everything according to the NEC, which means sizing panels for everything that is in them, not sizing them by one single load.

this is the kinda bs my step family does "haha we were flying in our plane down to florida and the people we visited have covid! It's crazy. No we don't have it, just the sniffles." They come to Christmas with someone sick EVERY YEAR. My brother's wife was in Chemo at one point too and we're like wtf!? Don't bring that crap around!! Plus my wife is susceptible to that stuff too. She gets sick from them almost every other year!! :annoyed::rant::censored:

My sil's bday was Friday, I was wondering why she wasn't with my bil and their kids on her bday. My wife text her Friday and told her happy bday, she said thanks I have cvid what a great way to spend my bday. Wife ask some more questions, she said she knew she had it Monday but tested negative, Weds. tested again and was positive. Her husband and kids traveled on Weds. She works in a hospital and has had it a couple times so she knew what was up, her hubs knew it too and kept on :smack:

Saw this at the end of a driveway this morning on my way in. Went back figuring the scrappers would have snatched it up, nope. Put it in the truck. Needs a little tweaking.

    Probably 20'x40'? I haven't measured it. It's a 2 car garage with a finished loft above it.
