    As another Bengals fan, anything that hamstrings Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore is a bonus.

    But not this way.

    As for "accusations" Houston has paid millions in settlements, and that screams "guilty but willing to do anything to keep out of court."

    Not sure what they will lose, but he's missed a lot of games with



    I'm not sure. His situation is complicated by endless injuries. I believe he had the worst completion record inside the 10 yard line of any QB last season. His off-season shoulder surgery didn't help his trade value. The Niners have to move on from this guy one way or another.

    I say with the greatest certainty, there is no greater position in NFL hell than a quarterback competition or controversy. After 5 years and a full dozen different starting QBs in Denver, it is a blue steel bitch. Jimmy is a good QB and there is always a market for a good QB. The Saints need one, god knows Seattle needs one. The list of those who would see Jimmy as an upgrade is long. So it is a matter of SF wanting to trade him at the right time for the most value. OR...they don't believe Trey is likely to be better.

    I know the often-injured Jimmy still has his fans, but I'm not one of them. I hope somebody picks him up, but I doubt he's ever going back to a Superbowl as a starter.
