RE poll. Been summoned 3 times. First one they heard me say the guy must be guilty, cause the cops caught him. They let me go.
2 nd time I refused to be sworn in , again I was dismissed.
3 time I threw the letter in the trash.

I think it means that new CEO of Fiat has just been sworn in.

 

Gotten out of a couple court jury duties. For 1 got to the pool was going to be a malpractice case. They don’t want Firemedic with his Rn on the jury.
Now been subpoenaed to appear a bunch for the FD. I hate it.

 

Served on jury duty twice.
First time....the state purchased a chunk of some folks front yards cause they were putting a hiway in. One of the gals wanted more money than they were offering to pay (of course), but she didn't get any.
Second time was a medical malpractice worth a bunch of money; we sat thru the whole thing, as soon as they sent us to deliberate it was settled.

sounds similar to me. First time told them the cops were right and I knew them and trusted their judgement. Got dismissed.

2nd it got called off the morning of.

3rd got a notice of failure to appear. Never knew I had to appear in the first place. Luckily nothing ever became of that one.

 

I can't be on a jury. I'm nearly deaf and have a bad back. Sitting in there is hell . I also don't pay attention to crap I don't care about.

 

I've served Grand Jury duty once; two days a week for 2 months. And I was called in a second time but they fiiled out all the positions before they got to me. That amounted to half a day.

 

The 2 nd time I got summoned, they lined us up and said raise your right hand to take the jurors oath. I didn't and they told me to go home.

 

Maybe I’ll have to try one of those 33s. I have an old one that works awesome, so I bought a 33 platinum to go with it. That thing has been crap since I got it. Broke the cast button return spring when I first got it by being crazy and pushing it with my thumb. I’ve messed with it trying to get it to be as good as the old one, and best I can get it is cast 10 feet then bind, then cast perfect 10 times, repeat. I guess they don’t make them like they used to.

 

That must be a 4.7 V8. Pretty normal
