Only the hot girls at school could pull off wearing these, along with Calvin Klein or Jordache jeans.

IIRC, the shoe leather was also waterproof so as to repel all the "nice guy" broken hearts tears as they would grovel in despair when they had no chance and were completely used.

I know this... from a friend... of course :anonymous:

When I was a kid my dad taught me how to fix televisions. But I didn’t have a signal generator, so if I wanted to do an alignment I had to get up at 5:30 in the morning and wait for the test pattern.

I’ll bet I was the only 13 year old kid in Duluth Minnesota to own his own oscilloscope. I often wished I hadn’t traded it for a Gibson guitar in the 70s

But the guitar is actually worth about $1000 now and the oscilloscope would be virtually worthless except as an antique. After all these years the vacuum tubes would be burned out and unavailable.

The Gibson still sounds pretty good.

My school days were well before this type of thing.

Girls for the most wore decent Foot ware in the country you never knew when you might need to travel on foot.

I had clearance for that sort of thing. (USMC issued)

...Maybe "Alter Ego" would have been a better choice. ??
