Came here to pretty much say the same thing. Throttle response since reflashing is spot on. Towing is a dream, long steady pulling without gear hunting… Love it! Super happy with my truck, thanks to the Nexus team hard work!

~150 mile update on Blackhawk after the update to the update for the brake override malfunction issue o_O

So far so good. She's got the power back that the original Blackhawk tune had. Still settling in after resetting all learned values but shifting is getting nice and smooth. I haven't gotten up on the thruway yet since this update but I'll probably try it out soon. Fuel econ hasn't been great. I'm getting around 15.5 average according to the truck computer, but that may go up with time. Overall it feels good so far. Will report back as the miles increase.

So the update to fix the “brake override” issue worked great!

I have around 2000 miles on it now, and I am finally driving like a normal person again, instead of leadfooting around!
Getting ~19 mpg. My wife doesn’t get nearly as good of mileage, cause she calls it “the race car” and drives it accordingly.
Throttle response was tweaked? Sooo much better, particularly in mud. Tip-in I think it’s called.

I have run into a few guys with other tunes, and they are super impressed, and expressed interest in possibly switching.

I am sooo happy with the drivability of my taco now. Hell, even the service tech at the local dealership commented on how sweet it was! Thanks again!

After a very eventful flashing, I put Blackhawk on my truck last week. Im probably around 600 miles now and I feel like its still getting better and better.
The shifting is superb. On the interstate, the 6-5-4-5-6 shifts are smooth and well timed. Its surprising honestly.
I havent used cruise control in years. Never was something that was even possible with this truck. I tried it the other day coming home from work and couldnt believe how well it worked.
As far as mileage, I seem to be getting around 17-18 which for me is impressive. I had a 100+ mile trip yesterday of hills and windy roads and got 18.2 on the trip (measured on the dash and then corrected for tire size). My truck probably weighs north of 6,500 pounds so to get 18 mpg is ok by me.

Bravo to the team on this one. Yall really hit the nail on the head. 5 stars for driveability for sure. Busch Lights are on me next time I see any of you!

    Appreciate the stellar review.

We had a rough start with this tune and it has greatly impacted our sales. I really appreciate all of you who have kept faith in us so we can prove we're worth a try. Blackhawk is truly one of, if not the most, in depth tune you'll find on the market. Horsepower and torque gains where they're needed most, shifting and air fuel optimization, throttle enhancements, and so much more.

I hope that changes for you. Ive driven a lot of tunes and theres not another I would swap it out for. It drives exactly like it ought to.

I am excited to get into 4LO this weekend and report back on that. I saw someone post about it previously and got excited to try it. 4LO has been a complaint of mine on every tune Ive tried before. I will for sure let you know my thoughts.

Moose and I just spent a week in Moab and were in 4LO extensively. I think you're going to enjoy what Blackhawk has to offer there. Very controllable at all times and has power when and where you need it.

    Curious.

I’m a big tune skeptic but a couple of my brochochos are giving it the thumbs up.

night and day better in every way. NA or SC - fixes so much that is wrong but forgotten as acceptable due to the numbness of trying to figure out what the hell the Mothership was thinking (or not thinking is more like it).
