by the exhaust i assume this is a tundra motor, correct? they had no listng of 1grfe in the search options.

When I was looking, I got the impression is was a nascar spec motor. But I could be wrong. It's been known to happen before. ,

Was recently made aware of (new?) CA CARB laws, looks like I can't have a modified tune on my ECU, or any intake modifications. Could anyone clarify?
Hoping to install 2.85" stealth pulley, upgraded fuel pump, and FPR mod, the latter could be reverted for test. Any thoughts?

 

I don't know. I am all for more power but I feel like this stuff wouldn't get you a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

 

I have all those mods (+more) and passed CA smog back in Dec '21. Unless there are newer/stricter laws, I think you should be good as long as you can slide pass visuals.

 

If it is that much better for wear protection I think it would be a good addition to page 1

 

Looking at your build, it looks like you have a modified TRD tune? Am I correct in assuming that as long as the calibration ID number stays the same and your truck passes emissions you are good?
I noticed that intakes, notably the aFe ones, are now listed as non CARB compliant..
EDIT: Would an intake have to be a TRD because that would be a Toyota part?
