Any update with this? How did you remove it? Same thing happened to me, I specifically told them not to PC it after seeing this post! I even offered to put tape over it while there. “We’ll remember” :annoyed:

Anyone know if Billy can (and is willing to) mount a single swing out on the driver's side instead of the passenger?

    Asking for a friend.

Just realized the PC company powered coated the inside part of the swing out where the bearings go. Does anyone know if the powder coat will need to be removed inside this area, or will the bearings fit fine with it PC? The bearings seem to drop in and sit well with the existing lips inside. Thanks! C288AFA8-C2BE-4762-964E-8EEC5D894511.jpg

Yea dude, no problem. I had already mounted the bumper so I taped off and cut a hole in a piece of cardboard and taped around that to make a good seal. Then put airplane stripper on it. It took two applications but the pc wiped right off.

Does anyone have an idea of a part number or any lead on what fills the holes for the back up sensors? I have a 2017 but don’t have sensors. I’ve tried several Amazon rubber hole plugs but cans find anything that works yet. Any help is appreciated

Billy's shop is extremely short staffed, but he will get back to you. Best way is to call and leave a voicemail and wait to hear back from him. I think he's only running the shop with three people right now including him and his wife

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately the box is full, and have a few emails as well over the last month. I get that he is short staffed, but it sure is a little harder than it should be to put an order in. I'll try another week or two before figuring something else out, I like his work too much.

Just fyi, I have called him like 10 times in the last 7 months and he always picks up the phone. I typically only call in-between 1PM and 130PM as he is probably busy in the morning and at 1PM most likely getting back from lunch. He can be somewhat responsive to texts too but yeah form what he said they are pretty slammed at the moment.

I finally got ahold of him today. He couldn’t answer but he actually text me back. Just a string of bad luck, and I can now vouch phone contact is a lot better than email. Thanks guys for prodding me to try calling more often than email. Most other companies are the opposite. Looking forward to running the hardware!

Ordered first week of March and just picked it up today. Had to wait a hour at the freight pick up. No wonder shipping is cheap with these YRC yahoos

That's how it went for me. Several calls timed for Pacific time zone, start of the day & around lunch. After a few I got a text back saying he'd call me, then after that it was prompt replies & great communication. I think he maybe uses phone calls as a screening process to weed out the tire kickers.

After running it for a couple months and a few trips, I'm planning some modifications to mine:

    1. Cut out the slots for the crossbar that locks in the gas cans, so that I can fit a large cable lock through there. (I stopped running it off pavement because it was super noisy.)
    2. Make a larger fold-down table. I think I can extend it about a foot horizontally, if not more. Probably add some way of hanging cooking utensils below the table, too.
    3. Add a storage bag behind the spare tire for the hose for my propane, gas regulator, and lighters.

For anyone else waiting I just spoke with Billy and he recently received a lot of backordered spindle kits which had been holding up a lot of orders with swingouts.
