My ATS springs squeak like crazy

 

Well uh, weird place to post but I'm looking for a roommate to fill a room I have in my Kirkland house. One recently moved out and ones currently in process of moving out with his girlfriend or something weird like that. DM for info.

Sorry I’m just getting back to you, I’m on toddler duty so I don’t think I’ll be able to help this weekend.

 

Anyone else having a fun weekend Truck died about 2 miles from Canada 20 miles in off Hwy 395 and got trailered back down to Hwy 2 from Spokane to Concrete yesterday and by yesterday I mean the 36hr day that started Friday morning at 5:00am on Bolder Creek Pass. Truck died driving about 15 miles an hour thinking it’s another fuel pump. I didn’t hear it turn on.

 

Damn that sucks. Hopefully easy fix.

 

A lot easier in the shop than in the middle of BFE 55 miles from a parts store that’s closed on the weekends. There was a stick that was dragging jammed up into the top of the fuel tank. Might have hit a connector. Hopefully it not something crazy like a broken timing chain. It turns over. At one point it started but immediately fell on its face and sounded really rough.. like it ran outta fuel. After smacking the tank checking relay and fuses I was able to get the return line popped free and there wasn’t any pressure. I couldn’t squeeze hard enough with my fingers to pop the feed line free to see it it was pumping but kinda gave up early knowing I couldn’t hear the pump turn on. Had a about 10 hours to kill before my extradition.

 

Hopefully I found the culprit. Wasn’t out all the way. It was found it loose in the hole lucky I figured it out pretty quick. That would have fucked with me for a long time knowing the pump turned on with 12v hooked up. Not put back together and started yet but I think it’s figured out.

 

Truck started right up after I put it back together. Must have been a 1 in a million shot with the stick.

Got some questions for the JBLM people.

Im possibly looking at moving to the area for a new job thats located on Mcchord AFB. I have been looking at rentals in Olympia. About how long of a commute it would be from Olympia to Mcchord? Ive heard the average time is around 40 minutes. How is the surrounding area. Is the crime as bad as everyone says it is? Also, Im having a really hard time trying to find a rental, any areas to avoid? Any help is greatly appreciated. Im sure Ill have more questions.
