    All of them.
285s your going to have to cut. 265/75 is the general rule to get away without any trimming. Some will argue otherwise but that's the general rule

-38 offset? Definitely will rub without a CMC and hammered pinch weld.

Leveling kit manufacturer claims that 285/70r17's fit with no cutting or trimming , I'm just not sure if that's the case with the offset on the wheels I want.

    All of them.
Yes. And they will fit but you are not turning and hitting a bump.

What offset would fit 285/70r17's with minimal rubbing

None. If you don't go enough offset you'll rub the upper control arm. Just cut and forget about it. Lol

You won’t even notice that it’s cut. You’ll forget about it the next day and feel like it never happened to your truck. Especially when you see how sexy she looks on 33s lol. All worth it at the end!

Probably zero to any positive. I run 285/70/17 and have -14 offset. I needed cab mount chop and flattened pinch welds. That’s with a 2.5” lift.

You won't fit 285s perfectly without some trimming, or some cutting, and probably some new UCAs

    That's why I went 275s with a 2" lift

Biggest you could fit is a 33" 255 pizza cutter tire.

Wouldn't this leveling kit give me a total of 3" in the front cause aren't trd pro's lifted 1.5 in the front from other models and the kit gives another 1.5 inches

    All of them.
Lift means nothing as far as fitting tires. If your suspension compresses at all you lift becomes null.

Your suspension will still cycle back to pre lift height when you hit a bump. Gotta be able to fit them stock to assure no rubbing with lift.

Oh yeah that should've been obvious to me. If I ran 285/70r17's on a -12 offset could I get away with just cutting and trimming? If not I'll just go with 0 offset.

All stock Tacomas have a similar amount of lift from the factory. When people refer to lift they generally are referring to additional lift.

Are the trd pro's not lifted an inch or inch and a half from factory, that's what I see when I look it up.
