@0xDEADBEEF you've always got good ideas (and suggestions), how are you setup for air?

One compressor, multiple drops?

Caveman style and running a long hose across the shop?

Bluetooth mod cause you use batteries instead?

 

Daaaammmmnnn that's a serious shop for one technician to have 2 separate set up guns. It doesnt take long, but I've lost track of the amount of time I've spent switching wire spools and gas leads and were a small enough shop the boss gives zero shits on that time amount as well lol

 

The company is worth over 124mil, and that's just one name they go by as they're worldwide.

Usually a drug test is the fastest way to lose welders, painters, and drywall guys... so I was a bit surprised

 

Seriously, the interview went really well.

The galvanized welding though, man that kicked my ass just getting the settings dialed in.

That and because it was what..14 or 16 ga.

 

Honestly, buying new larger rims has been a big personal hiccup in doing that upgrade.




That, and the fact there's only anecdotal evidence that the upgrade makes an actual difference lol

 

What did they have for fume extraction, welding galv makes phosgene gas and it'll fuck up your nervous system

 

I mean there's only so many ways you can make plain water, they just went full target marketing with it

There's also some wheeling and camping that can be done up here.

 

Forgot to mention, they have a crazy nice extraction setup.

You can literally see the fumes sucked right up faster than a lot lizard outside Applebee's by the truck stop

But yeah when I first struck that arc I was like 'oh yea' and quickly moved to right underneath the moveable vent.

There was a 3.4L 5MT 4x4 Tundra up for sale here a few weeks ago. Seller was the original owner and special ordered it for fuel economy. Said it was something like 20% better than a v8 auto truck.
