Milwaukee Tools

Before I go paying almost $20 for just 3 cut off blades from Milwaukee, has anyone had success with another specific blade for their cut off tool?

Still got some life in my blade but I'd like some more on the shelf. This thing is proving to be much more useful than I thought.

Best cut off blades I've used are Mac tool brand, they are expensive but nothing else has come close to lasting so long.

 

You use them specifically on this cut off tool?

This is my half assed one.

Was bored one day and I had an idea to make a little shelf I can keep batteries I insist on using first.

Remember mentioning my intent to kill my smaller batteries? Those remain on that little shelf.



Rest of my batteries are here with some of my tools.



The bolts on that shelf are welded on too; like I said I was bored and wanted to make something

 

I wanted to have batteries "near me" as I'm often needing to grab one or two to cycle through, while being able to plop them on the charger once I'm done.

The extra chargers, cause we all have multiple, remain as backups in my "battery bin" in case this one fails.

 

Still working through my battery situation. Between them all… I have ideas and not enough time.

 

What is it you're trying to do with them?

I have a lot of spare steel, and got pretty much almost all of it free so I'll make random stuff when I get an idea.

 

Not on that tool, I have a harbor freight 3 inch cut off tool.

 

Usually people will poke fun at the stick figures I have doing manual labor

 

Damn, HF has everything. Never saw their cut off tool.

Thanks for the suggestion on the blades, getting some ordered up.

 

They used to have some really innovative stuff, but cheap 1 time use. Now they still have those cool items but have gotten more refined.

I am trying to keep my extra batteries in one place when they are charged, awaiting their next turn; but also having a nice organized place for the chargers.

 

For the smaller drywall jobs, a post it note folded in half and stuck to the wall makes for easy cleanup. Prob not for the scale this attachment was intended to deal with though.

 

Got the bare tool to add to my absurd mountain of red for $60 or something.
My impact is the last brushless tool I needed to replace to have everything on the Fuel line. It’s incredible how much of an improvement the Fuel tools are over the brushless.

 

Yeah my fuel 12v impact driver and drill definatly outperform my m18 non fuel ones. I only buy fuel now since its so much better.

 

My Milwaukee Fuel Impact 1/4" hex has 95% the balls my old Craftsman (pre-china buyout) air powered half inch mandrel bolt slapper has got.

In fact the only complaint I have with my Milwaukee Fuel Impact is it keeps shattering socket adapter shanks.

 

Supposedly FUEL was an engineering team with the sole goal to "Find Ultimate Energy Level" hence why fuel stuff outperforms the other line. They are winding out the technology as hard as they can.

My M12 power ratchet is still non-fuel though because it has a smaller head and thus fits in more places and I find that to be more useful to me than it having a little bit more power.
