When I see that happening, I tell everybody to go start writing it there way and come back when it's working. Odds are at least one or two of the people will run into something that makes them change their mind about the best way to do it.

Worst case, you get to pick from a few working options.

Ha. Rental house so cave man all the way. About the only things I really use air for are tires and painting though, batteries have come so far.

Maybe if I grab dads sandblaster someday I’ll do more.

I didn't have reason to go air before until recently, and now I'm thinking I'll slowly build up a small tool set for air only.

I used a die grinder from time to time at work so I think that's next.

 

Glamping! I can run the air conditioner and sauna off my solar panels.

I brought the Four Seasons with me too!

 

I picked up an 18v die grinder and it beats the pants off anything I could run on my air compressor or my dads, they’re just so air hungry.

Air is the way to go though i think for a proper shop, much easier to manage one big air compressor rather than a zillion batteries.

That die grinder must be a hog too though. I hated eating up batteries with my Milwaukee angle grinder so I just stuck with corded all around.

I'm just glad the air compressor I got pushes plenty of air. I would've had to spend a nice chunk of change to get anything new pushing this much air out.

 

Nice does he still have the double cab long bed 1st gen frame sitting there?

 

I’ve been surprised by the battery life. I can get a considerable amount done with the 5 and 6 aH 18v batteries, but if I were doing this all day long every day, air would be the way. The 5hp, 30 year old compressor of my Dads can’t keep up with the die grinder we had, have to stop and let it fill every couple minutes if you’re working it hard.


I’ve heard good things about the harbor freight die grinders , keep them oiled and they last. I do wonder what their efficiency is like compared to a nice IR one though.

 

That's what we had at work! An Ingersoll, but they have varying models with big price gaps which leads me to believe their cheaper ones are maybe Chinese whereas the pricier ones are US made?

Well I started fixing the Corolla brakes today, almost went into a guard rail, so that's good enough motivation to make them less deadly.

Used master cyl is bled and the old one was definitely messed up. Also have a used prop valve too.

broverlanders dont do full on SAS. they install top of the line suspension components then bitch when they need to be rebuilt.

A coworker of mine bought a new Gladiator. We've all agreed to chip in and buy him some angry eyes, but since he's on the factory 32" highway tires we'll install them backwards.
