I’ve been using WoolWax for a couple of years now, but after following this review, I’m going to buy a gallon of PB Surface Shield from Amazon this fall. The stuff seems to work even better.

If you get a sprayer and buy 1 gallon you will be good to go. A gallon should easily do 4 vehicles and have some left. I went absolutely crazy on my 4Runner since I’ll probably end up flipping the tacoma in 3-4 years and keep the 4Runner.

I bought a 5 pack because it was free shipping and sold off a few cans. I also have some to do it again this fall on my Tacoma & 4Runner.

One can will do the suspension around 3 applications easy. It doesn't attract dust/dirt like FF... dries to a clear waxy coating. Everything else gets FF.

Between 1992 and 1996, I acquired a little red wagon, a Kettcar pedal go-kart thing, two bicycles, a Power Wheels Jeep, and a scooter; I still had that entire fleet in early 1998!

    Here's a riddle...

What car has all of the qualities listed below?

    • Exempt from California's draconian smog testing!
    • Better looking and more fuel efficient than a Prius!
    • Has an engine that can go a million miles or more when properly maintained!
    • Still fits in at even the most exclusive country clubs, more than three decades after it was manufactured!

Here's your answer; I saw this beauty in Palo Alto, California last Friday!

Please respond after reading this post!

I encountered a genuinely vindictive motorist for the first time in well over five years, while driving into work this morning. I was in the left lane on Street Road in Warminster. There was a Volkswagen Jetta in front of me and a large commercial truck in the right lane. The Jetta was going too slow, and there wasn't enough space to safely get in front of the truck. I tried to, and I think the truck driver tried to cut me some slack, but the Jetta driver wouldn't go faster...

    :annoyed:

For no reason at all, the guy in the Jetta flipped me off, and I responded by beeping. The speed limit on Street Road is like 45 MPH, and he was going like 10-15 below in the left lane! I did not start "tailgating" him until he slowed down to unsafe levels and prevented me from passing him.

Frustrated, I just laid on the horn, and he purposely hung his arm out the window and cruised along at a leisurely pace far below the posted speed limit. He had plenty of space to get into the left lane, but refuse to. The truck prevented me from getting into the left lane and passing the Jetta.

The turn lane for a shopping center was coming up, so I used this to pass him and went over the median slightly, which is probably going to require an alignment.

The Jetta made no attempt to speed up or otherwise keep me from passing, and as soon as I got in front of him, he got into the right right lane and ultimately turned into a shopping center!

    :annoyed:

For once, I think this was was an isolated incident; I've slowed down to get revenge on a tailgater (ironically in a Jetta just like this guy), but I was in the right lane when I did it, and I didn't flip the driver off...

Plus your blood pressure will increase if u let them get to u. Deep breaths..... think of something else....your not going to change them. Hang inbthere.

All that and he was making a right turn all along

Left lane cruisers bug the ever loving daylights out of me. The only times you should be in the left lane are if you’re passing, or approaching a left turn. It’s not rocket surgery people.

Your first mistake was getting on a road named “Street Road”. What the fu€k kind or name is that.

Who knows man. Some people just fail to realize that other people have places to go and people to see.

On another note, you’ve already pissed off someone today. Go ahead and get that out of the way early. So now that’s out of the way, the rest of the day should be smooth sailing. Or at least that the way I look at it.

Seriously though, I wouldn’t let it bother me one bit. The other guy is gone and out your life. Don’t let him live in your head the rest of the day.

hate that. Sometimes people intentionally block you. If i see them doing that i dont use turn signals. Left lane vigilantes are the worst

Also, I used to take advantage of having a truck and take "illegal off-road shortcuts" to circumvent traffic with alarming regularity, so many times I've lost count...

In April 2021, I hopped a curb and drove with my my passenger side tires on the sidewalk to get around a line for a Wendy's that had flooded onto the road I was on. There was a cop on the other side of this traffic that I didn't see, and I got nailed with a careless driving citation; I took it to court and it got reduced to a fine with no points on my license.

Since that happened almost a year and a half ago, there have been maybe three times where I've "illegally taken advantage of a having a lifted truck" (including this incident today with the shithead in the Jetta).

Even worse than than the vigilantes are the losers who are triggered by the stickers and magnets I have on the back of my truck...

I guess I’m pretty lucky. About the most I’ve done was move off the shoulder of the road to let larger vehicles pass on a one lane. I guess having a 4WD truck helps.

Or a lifted 2WD like I've got; I've tried to be a lot more careful since I got the new frame, but this prick in the Jetta really pissed me off and I needed to get to work...
