I went back and forth many times whether to keep my existing shell and put a GFC RTT on it, but ultimately went with the full camper. No regrets!

Made a quick and easy screen for the back.

Just window screen, duct tape and sticky Velcro. Less than $20 in materials and 15 minutes in time.

Just folded the duct tape over the edges to reinforce the edge of the screen and so the Velcro had something to stick to. Other side of the Velcro is stuck to the inside of the GFC frame. I left the screen square and didn’t bother angling it to fit the opening of the GFC.

Doesn’t go all the way to the bottom since the bed platform covers that part.

Anyone have any good pictures of how they mounted they’re traction boards to the beef bars? I purchased a mount from Sherpa, which I like, but just looking at what others done.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Looks good :)

That would be sweet as well. Get a big ol’ skid across the bottom and your set. I will say the shorter wheel base is nice up here in the NC switchbacks.

I'm down here in Texas with our hot summer nights camping sucks anyone run A/C in their GFC. I want to run it just at night for sleeping with my 1 and 6 yearold. I saw some guys with regular campers build a frame out of wood for the tailgate and stick a window unit it seems to work. Yes camping is camping blah blah blah.

I am down to meet up and explore on 2 wheels…that’s actually my biggest passion. Just let me know when ya wanna meet up. I am down for some dual sport, hard enduro, or we can rock the pkwy.
