ive always been a "habitual line stepper" im mostly compliant but im not a pushover. Ive broken traffic laws (speeding, running red lights, etc) but nothing nefarious.

If you come at me hostile, you get hostile back...road rage i try to keep under control, as im usually carrying unknown to the other driver. So its better im not crazy in that respect but im sure going to protect myself and passengers.
Ill flip ya off thats about it. If it escalates further, its going to be a bad day for the other person. Too many stories of people getting gun pulled on them.

I was detained in Walmart because I looked like someone that was reported to be shoplifting. 5 city police officers, 1 of them had blue medical gloves on. Dude was HUGE. I was surrounded. They asked for my ID and then asked why I wasn’t shopping in in my own county?

I explained to them that was there to look for a pair of Crocs so I could pressure wash my grandparents house. 10 mins later, they handed me my ID back and told me to have a good day.

Talk about weird. 5 of them and 1 big guy with medical gloves. I still haven’t figured why so many. And who else out there looks like me:rofl:

Actually, it wasn’t at all funny at the time. And I think I was being “profiled”.
You get a new perspective when it is you.

And No, I don’t dislike police. I really get along with just about all of them I’ve met. My stepfather and brother were police officers, those guys have to put up with a lot. I wouldn’t want that job.

The only cop I thought was an asshole was the one back in January 2019; I got pulled over for driving through a red light. I didn't blatantly blow through a red light; I was super tired and treated a red light a stop sign, looking both ways and going through after finding the intersection to be clear. A sheriff's deputy pulled me over, but since he was wasn't allowed to write me a ticket, he called for a regular cop on the radio and embellished the truth. The cop told me that if I fought the ticket in court, "he and deputy so-and-so would be there to testify against me."

I took that as an insult and straight-up intimidation, talked to the lawyer who owns the bar where I worked the next day, and not only took it to court but got it reduced to a fine with no points on my license. One of many reasons I don't really like the CBRPD.

I can understand if he didn't want to be behind the truck but then go past them, jackass. What a bellend, must be a Jetta thing.

I have a few tattoos. But none can be seen unless I remove my shirt.
Wish I never got them. They never did anything for me but cost money.
Never once jumped off my skin and helped me out of a situation.

After closely reviewing the dashcam footage and talking with my parents, I realized that I really fucked up. At first, I was quite inadvertently tailgating the guy, and he pulled an asshole move by slowing down, flipping me off, and going out of his way to keep me in front of him; I should have backed off and just let him continue on his way. I've backed off and let people continue to be assholes, and I don't know why I didn't do it this time because I never used to fly off the handle for probably the first six years that I had my driver's license. I have shared the dashcam footage with @ColoradoTJ and @shakerhood via text message.

I am not a bad person at all, but ever since this whole COVID thing started I have found myself more and more frustrated over the stupidest shit, which I think is the case for a lot of people in the world. That guy in the Jetta was 100% the asshole until I drove into the center turn lane to pass him. Thankfully, it will likely only result in me having to pay for an alignment on the truck and nothing more.

My parents have expressed their concern and they are 100% correct.

Part of my issue is the shortcomings of autism; I am unintentionally not very good with boundaries and personal space, though this has improved greatly over the last two decades. Unfortunately, this shortcoming carries over to when I am behind the wheel. I don't get behind the wheel of my truck and purposely tailgate people to intimidate them into changing lanes, and a lot of the time I don't realize I'm doing it. Most people don't do anything about it, but occasionally I'll run into somebody like this asshole in the Jetta who decides to become a vigilante and teach the person tailgating them a lesson. When the guy in the Jetta decided to teach me a lesson, it set me off; I should have just backed off and let the asshole in the Jetta continue to be an asshole!

We all have a our faults. The hard part is recognizing them and trying to fix them.
If I said I never got angry while driving, I’d be lying.
But it takes a lot for me to get mad.

I’m an odd person I guess. I usually find myself lost in questioning why?
Why is that person so mad?
Why are they driving that way?
Is that the way they were taught to drive?
Do they always drive like this?

I seriously never set out to be an aggressive driver; I unwittingly do something wrong like absentmindedly tailgating a slow-moving left lane camper, they decide to become a vigilante, and I get set off by their antics and do something stupid that result in people getting hurt and/or vehicles getting totaled...

Basically I hit a rough spot in life.
Try being 5’9” and weighing LESS than 120 lbs.
    I wasn’t kidding when I said I looked like a drug addict.
    I looked like walking death.

I’ve mentioned it before, I have OCD. (Since a child)
I was obsessed with only eating once a day.
I was thinking afraid of being fat, I just didn’t want to eat more than once a day.
    Well, that did not work.

Thankfully I’m passed that now. I eat when I’m hungry. 2x 4x a day what ever.

People like to joke they are OCD, and that’s ok. Because they don’t know any better.
But I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

You have Asperger’s and a forum of Autism.
While I (and others) have different problems.

Just be thankful you have parents you can talk to about it.
So people don’t or can’t talk about it.

According to my psychiatrist, I have a touch of OCD, but it's definitely not as bad as yours; I was diagnosed when I was 16.
