How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Same day mine is scheduled to be born.

Not that I have it marked on a calendar or committed to memory or anything like that.

 

Chiming in here, dealer was allocated an Army Green TRD Sport DCSB Manual, ordered it on June 7th and was told as of last week that it is also in Veracruz, ETA is September. This seems to be in line with what my salesman mentioned.

 

How are you seeing this if I may ask? I was thinking I could track my truck the same way

 

I'm no expert. I got the idea from other people claiming all they did was download the Toyota app onto their smartphone or tablet, register themselves, and add a vehicle with the permanent (not the temporary) VIN of their vehicle.
Takes a day or so for a vehicle that has been built, to be put into the system that allows adding on the app.
Then a few days after manufacture, you'd get a door unlock.
Then a few more days later, more door unlock messages.
Then a few days after that, 1 mile or so and tire pressures appear.
I have not found a way for it to tell you where the vehicle is, but certainly Toyota knows. The lat/lon info is probably not turned on, until you formally register as the owner.

Welcome, the truck was build yesterday. No ETA so far.

 

I put a deposit down today for a 2022 Tacoma Access Cab TRD OR with Ralph Hayes Toyota. TRD Access Cabs are very rare with Southeast Toyota so I don't expect a quick delivery. It wouldn't surprise me if I got it late Spring or Summer of 2023.

 

@Rod03 . Has 3TMCZ5AN8NM516038 made it to Petersburg? Left San Diego on July 13. Estimated dealer arrival was last week.

My 6/4 Baja build was finally delivered.

 

My Watch is ended. I got pissed at my dealer after what you folks said, found the inventory spreadsheet, found an AG Trail EXACTLY how I wanted it, better than my ghost truck order, less markup, on the lot and not presold. 4 hours away. I pick it up tomorrow! So March 22-August 9. I'm going to drive it to the other dealer and get my deposit back in person.

Someone posted it earlier in this insane thread, wouldn't hurt to bump it. Searched it this afternoon, found 3, the 2nd one was 4 hours away on the lot, did the deal/hold over the phone, done. After waiting over 5 damn months for nothing. Good luck and happy hunting!

 

Any idea what the hold up could be? Talked with the dealer yesterday and was told it was right on schedule and they're expecting it to get here any day this week lol.

 

I waited 4 months for my white 2022 TRD 4X4 Off Road DCLB. Worth the wait.
