R.A.D. Run Pics 19Feb2011

Nice pics Adam, thanks for posting them up bro'. The terrain was easy, the weather (mixture of snow & ice) made it brutal though, snowing like hell & it was all sticking..

I know what you mean Randy, most everyone has/brings cams & click away but seldom do they post up !! Private photo galleries ??..

 

I'm waiting for my buddy to send me the pictures he took while he was riding shotgun and I'll post em up when I get em.

Before it started snowing...





This was the bottom of the road that leads up to Mt. Laguna, in about an hour & 1/2 it'll be about a foot of snow in this spot, more up the hill..

 

Tomorrow I am coming down to Santee and Josh is going to fix my light bar and we are going to add my two Kragen HID Euro Beam lights to go with my two Hella 4000 100 watt halogen pencil beams and get them wired and switched for night runs... and Baja! If I get done before traffic time, I will give you a call Doug, so you can check them out...

 

Man im so pissed i couldnt make it. i havent wheeled this truck yet. she needs to breath. looks like you guys had a great time. nice pics.

 

It was a great day even with the closed roads Doug wanted to go on and the 2WDs not getting as far up as the 4WDs... This is a really good group and I hope they keep doing the frequent runs while the weather is nasty (or nice)!

This Tacoma is just amazing... and the more difficult the run, the better I like it... 4 wheel drive ain't no jive!

 

Some prerunners made it just as far as the 4x4's...

 

Well... not really, but that's okay... When things got slippery on the first run, the Ranger had no 4WD working and only Doug and I were ahead... so we turned around.

On the second run, the Ranger (Josh) parked where he couldn't go further and got into my truck and we continued on up... but another 2WD truck got stuck below and the FJ pulled him out... Doug stayed there, while we drove on up past the tracks onto fresh snow... but when nobody was following us, we turned around and followed the rest of the gang back down.

Doesn't matter because it was fun.

We went down to Major's in Pine Valley for cheeseburgers, fries and really good onion rings!

 

I kept up with you and Doug till we decided to turn around. This prerunner handled its business very well.

I was trying to get a shot of the drop but too much snow falling.

 

I would have liked to seen Matt's Grabbers working the mud and snow...

I think matt was running at the back of the pack

 

Matt is a good group leader... even if he is in back... He makes sure everyone is out and accounted for!

I am very impressed with the SoCal Tacoma guys!
