Spot on. You can travel the dirt miles quickly, until the very end. The 2wd parking area is right after the only sandy section. The 4wd parking area, near the edge, takes more time to tackle.

I don't have long travel but the truck isn't a slouch either we should be able to cruise on the dirt. What should I expect for the slightly technical portion? is it just rocky climbs or something like deep sand? Ill be traveling solo with the wife so I dont have a experienced spotter (yet)

OEM TRDOR suspension was plenty for 50 mph on the dirt section. Wide open track most of the time, so no blind corners or people out of nowhere.

The final push is tricky. 4lo for sure. Slider contact and skid contact happened to me on OEM suspension. I too had an inexperienced spotter.

Sounds like a fun time then, I should have a least 3-4in's of ground clearance over OEM so maybe the sliders will make it out with no new scratches. I'm assuming its just a rocky hill then? Did you use your locker or just 4lo?

Finished 2 out of 4 of the boxes, so half way done I’d think, and 10hrs in, hah.

Speaking of camp spots, I follow this instagram page the.girl.scout and she posted this about a camp spot overlooking the Colorado somewhere along the grand canyon. Anyone know where this is? Also her scout is siiiiiick.

Woo projects, I ended up selling the LP4's and I found a ditch light bracket that attaches to the side view mirrors for S2 ditch/driving lights.

Kinda reminds me of the FJ side mirrors that had a light on 'em. I think it'll look pretty slick.

Whitemore point? Bright Angel campground. Its for the IG so probably a good play on selective photo to crop stuff.

Doesnt look like bright angel since shes way up above the river. Whitemore seems more likely.

I'll vote Whitmore as well. The cover shot on alltrails for the Grand Canyon via Whitmore Trail is super similar.

From the comments she says that it was a long drive and she started in another state.
Mentioned driving past the bar 10 ranch. https://goo.gl/maps/EeWDNynh3YzM6EWf9

ETA: I found it (not my pic)

Yep, definitely Whitmore. Pretty remote, I bet on a weeknight you could actually have that spot to yourself.

good grief, this insta-vestigation sent me down a path, which led to bavariacnc, and I hang my head but I missed International Beer Day.

and I spent way too much time trying to figure out how to embed that video of bavariacnc probing then opening a can - but the html just defeated me.

dammit @Atl-atl (and your the.girl.scout) I just don't know what <div class="myVidembed0"> does - copied the embed code from the 'gram but to no avail on a reel. My quiver just doesn't include that programming. G05.1Q1, sure.

This is frustration, but no engine.

I don't think I asked this on here before, but anyone use fuel injector cleaner on any regular basis? I've got 15K on the 4Runner now and I was considering running a bottle of lucas injector cleaner thru next time I fill up.

On one hand I don't think it'll hurt anything, but on the other, that $12 or whatever could be spent on a pizza. :p
