My winters consist of :pccoffee: and not much else, so no complaints here :notsure:
    RIGHT?! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

We regularly experience an 80 to 100 degree temp fluctuation through the course of a year. That is massive and hard to adjust to, then they throw tropical humidity into the mix. I'm freakin dying over here!

The obnoxious part is riding to work would have been great today. Instead I have to leave here to go somewhere from work so I couldn't ride. :( But should be able to get back to it. Going home during lunches in 95 degree heat isn't nice on the uphill.

On a 95 degree day, full sun, I'm not sure it even qualifies as type 2. At that point, ain't nobody havin' fun

Speak for yourself lol - I enjoy a good sauna ride. Helps clear the pores out and gives that glowing skin complexion

That was not my experience last weekend. Not a lot of enjoyment going on Saturday morning. I'm not built for this heat! We had an outdoor ceremony yesterday and I had to do the setup and tear down. I looked like I jumped in a pool by the time the event was done. I want winter back!

Yeah! Left back in ~2012, graduated HS and then left for college. After that was a yee-haw out of there. I left….ah I can’t remember, I THINK it was before they leveled the race track, but after it was sold and planned. I never really went south of the old Radio Shack, where the Lowe’s/etc is down there.

I did ONCE, when the liquor store down there was one of the only places around that had Citizen Cider, when they were still smaller.

Same! But not when it’s on my lunch break and I’m heading back to work right after…. If we had showers here, I would play ball. But I’d have to ride home, eat, shower quick, change my pants, and then ride back to work again. When I drive I at least get to hang out with the dog before I have to shower on the bad days.

I grew up riding BMX though. Jeans year round otherwise your shins are obliterated by those pedals. 95 degrees in jeans for years and you end up being fine with 92 and shorts :D

Yeah definitely, the absolute sweat mess of riding in heat is not conducive to sitting at work without a shower.

It's been too hot for me to ride outside, even late in the day. I can ride with a temp into the low 80s, but 100 is a bit much. Which kind of sucks as I much prefer riding outside on a road or mountain bike to my exercise bike in the family room.

Speaking of winter, I went to Home Depot today to pick up some AC filters. Out front was a row of snow blowers. In effing August. Ugh.
