    I’ve got 35k on my 18! Haha.

Hopefully I’ll get to keep her for 20 years minimum.

    Check build thread!
Nearing 45k miles on my 2021. I know, it’s a high mileage thread, but I figure that’s decently high for the year. Probably one of the higher ones.

Not sure. Was looking at a few options, 12 Tacomas and starting to get bored with them and multiple moves and 2nd house realizing I could use more room for dog, passengers and honey to do projects but also not a fan of the new tundra and all the issues I’ve seen on their forums but also not ready to switch brands. Kinda paralyzed. Allocations are ridiculous here in SET region, can’t find an off-road not spoken for or pro to save my life or paying $3k over.

Wondering if this thread was in response to all the posts about 3.5’s with cracked heads and valve issues. If so looks like the 2017 was the one to get and the 2018 the one to avoid. I was with a buddy going to a gun show a couple months ago when his 17 rolled over 250k and he thought about getting out and jumping in the air like the lame ass 80’s yota commercials.

There was a 2020 with same issue, its the same engine 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, anything mass produced is gonna have a few bad apples / random flukes.

    I did every 10k until 180k.

    From 180k-280k I've been doing every 5k.

I'm over 166k mi on my 2017. oil changes every 5k miles . Still runs great . I do most of my servicing. Had transmission serviced twice by dealer . Brake fluid flush once by dealer . Think I'm on my 3rd serpentine belt . Coolant drain and refill by local mechanic. Blackstone labs oil analysis at 140k mi , everything was good on results. Upgraded brake pads and rotors front .

What intervals did you have transmission, brake and coolant done, I'm at 45k and starting to think its time for that stuff, the factory manual is trash for intervals.

I did my spark plugs first time at 58k mi. Personally I dd my truck and road trip it few times a year I did my servicing before what the manual stated. I service the transmission once a year now due to many miles driven each year . My brakes were stock up to 134k mi . I drive highway a lot. My coolant I had that serviced I think 5k before the manual recommends

It's holding up pretty good . I have a few door dings from parking lots . The worst door ding was from Snoqualmie pass on I-5 , chunk of the road flew up from my tire and hit above the rocker panel, scared my wife . I have a couple chips in my hood but nothing crazy.

Same I got about 6 tiny chips in my hood and I don’t tailgate just hwy driving and IL / AL at about 45k miles. Thanks for the answers just like to hear others wear and tear over time. I will say the paint feels thinner than my 1st and 2nd gens for sure. Biggest gripe.
