Modding my bumper I had made last year. Was never in love with it.

Cut the hoop off and repurposed it to serve as a light holder. Cut and extended the wings. Making the skids a little smaller.

Used a protractor (fancy) to make 7 inch cardboard slugs to mimick lights.

Ordered 4 7 inch lights earlier, should be here next week.

    As of today:
    0810221745_HDR.jpg 0810221606b_HDR.jpg

Going to make lower skid symetrically smaller to match upper as well.

Bought a 2012 SR5 last year with 150k miles. Changed the original front pads. They were low but not as bad as expected. E-brake still holds well so will check the rears when the e-brake doesn't hold as good or the pedal drops a little. Coincidentally I worked on my Dads 97 Frontier because his pedal was getting close to the floor. Put on new pads and didn't help. Pulled the rear wheels and tapped drums with a rubber mallet. They fell off. Shoes looked new. Apparently nobody adjusted the rears whenever they replaced them. Adjusted each side around 6 or 7 clicks. Pedal came back up and brakes stop like new.

The Fine Scale Modeler New Product Rundown video explains the forward mounted wheels. Basically it allowed this French prime mover to traverse rough terrain (off-roading) during WWII. Less friction with steeper approach and departure angles... Trail Gear may be working on attachments... As Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett say about 5 o'clock, "It's April 1st somewhere..."

I got tracking today, Says it will be here Tomorrow. Thats 5 days from order to receipt.

Tracking is USPS and there are a bunch of updates as it moved across the country. They must have had US stock of the unit I purchased.

Mine came in less than a week. You may get just the driver set first. Some delays in the passenger sets.

I'm far less worried about the passenger side. It could probably come next year and noone would notice but me lol.

Just wondering, why would the CV angle be suspect? I honestly never thought to consider since the TC arms locate slightly fwd and the SPC uppers locate rearward.

If uppers and lowers are moving forward then he would be fine. If just lower is moved froward too much could cause some binding issues at full lock.

A little more progress, used leftover roll hoop to extend light bar so I wouldnt have to make skid any skinnier.
