Yeah West Texas is just not the place to be going for a jog. I had safety in numbers running out here for college. Had a teammate get a concussion from a high school kid throwing a frozen paper gatorade cup at his head from a moving car. 100s of other awful stories. That was my first scary dog encounter in a few years.

So last week I donated another pocket knife to the lovely folks at TSA. Trying out a new brand for my everyday carry, decided I end up losing them too often to spend too much money on one (just like sunglasses). This was about $70 and pretty nice. Very lightweight.

    Happy Birthday!

Hope you did something for yourself!

If not, remind yourself to do so. No one can take better care of you than You.

    3rd times the charm

This was the first time they found it though, didn't realize I had put it in my gym bag which I used for my carry on. The lady was inspecting it and Sofia started crying for me so I took her from Rebecca. Lady pulls the knife out and looks at me up and down like she was trying to figure out if I needed to be taken to a back room

If I hadn't been holding a 2 year old I probably would've gotten the old blue glove cavity search, but she just threw it in the trash and told me to be careful next time.

It was a cheap one, not as painful as the time I was in line and had to toss my Benchmade. Ugh.

Thanks man! I originally planned to volunteer today, I usually do on my birthdays but it got cancelled last minute so I fixed the Land Cruiser AC... which is something I've been sidelining for a while, despite owning all the stuff to do it already haha

I got a take and bake pizza (still not sold on that idea) and proceeded to burn the top of my mouth repeatedly cause I'm not patient enough for body safe pizza

Nice work volunteering! Mine b day was Monday and I volunteer then and on Christmas eve. Still doesn't make me feel better about the early 80's in Vegas though.:anonymous:

I wasn't alive in the early 80s so as far as I'm concerned you're good to go haha. Happy belated birthday by the way
