….speaking of wives, it’s gonna be Palma’s birthday next week. Since you’re relatively close….any ideas where I can take her for a nice dinner? I’d like to do something different than our usual places.

I thought of solar but I don’t think I’m staying long enough to make it worth while. :notsure:

The Taix (pronounced tex) restaurant has great French food.

El Cid has basic food from Spain, but has a great flaminco show.

Or Inn of the Seventh Ray in Malibu is an experience and good food

Got my done. It sprinkled twice and rain rather steadily once, but the was at the end, when I was doing the trimming.

I read somewhere it can be a hassle to transfer the solar panels, especially if the seller is still paying on them. For me, solar panels are a long term investment, and, unfortunately, I am past new long term commitments. :(

It was hard to visualize the full scenario from your post ( nothing wrong with your description, I'm just more of a "visual" guy) . Good grief Charlie Brown, glad that you skirted disaster.

Went to my usual tire dealer this morning. Time for rotation and balance. Had an appointment for 8:30. Store opened at 8. Tire techs wander in at 9, and drunk. Next guy shows at 10.

Looks like I'll be finding a new tire shop

    Keep going

    Hiya Chance

Mine too ... waited 'til late afternoon for it to dry. Bring on another 3 weeks of rain ... Fickle Witch :frusty:

Went thru this recently, well... 5 yrs ago when my go to guy of 16 yrs here got pushed out by a highway expansion. Place I started going, they bought up my guy's equipment, turned out sketchy, I'm pretty sure most of those techs were more than drunk, and I don't mean :rasta: . Last two years I'm going to a place in Wasilla ... little further away, but solid folks and still local owned. Best of luck finding a new place Bill. Sounds ridiculous, but a good tire shop is really important to me, so I get it Brother.
