Nice truck bruh but if you're gonna park in an EV (charging) spot, at least plug your truck in? :p

I would lose my mind if I was driving an EV and needed a charge and people were taking up charging spaces and not actually using them.

Like the diesel guys loosing their bowel control when gassers are at “their” pump? I do it on purpose in my chick truck because I like seeing burly tough guy men throwing fits like little school girls. :p

Imagine when EVs go more mainstream finding an open station is going to be difficult, at least they can install charging stations darn near anywhere.

Thats just a total dick move. At stations where every pump has diesel it doesn’t matter but a lot of stations only have diesel at a couple. Getting gas at those with open gas only pumps is just being an asshole.

At least that’s only for a few minutes. Imagine someone hogging the charger all day.

I agree, it's general courtesy. No reason to deliberately inconvenience someone. If the whole place is packed and cars are lined up then I probably wouldn't mind so much given that we are all waiting, but to inconvenience someone just for the sake of it is just rude. When I fill up diesel I'm not inconveniencing anyone who is getting gas...nor would I ever just park at a gas pump.

Kind of reminds me of the folks who park at the pump then go inside to order food, take a shit, browse snacks, etc. I get gas then move to park in a parking spot so that it frees up the pump.

Yep…I am pretty good at being an asshole. So beyond people and their bullshit, kinda done being nice… especially to those coal rolling diesel jackoffs….fuck ‘em! I’ll even go in and loiter in candy isle trying to decide if I want Reese’s or Peanut M&Ms…

Hell, I even used to operate diesels for work. Dunno, maybe because of where I live…lost the love for diesels. Perhaps diesel guys have become such assholes about it.

Used to be a people person, but people ruined it. lol! Just look at this thread, or the forum in general mostly a bunch of guys being dicks to each other over what is the better propulsion system of vehicles.

The Lightning is increasing in cost by $8500. That pretty much eats up all your possible fuel savings for the life of the truck. What’s the point here? Save the world and go broke trying?

OMG! Does that mean that Toyota won’t be selling a $40K fully electric Tacoma?

The price for EVs is going to continue rise as demand increases.

Except its not just the Lightning that the price is going up on. The cheapest gas XL model is seeing a 4K increase, Raptor 5,220, Lariat 7,580 and Limited 6,285. And the lighting is going up anywhere 6-8500 depending on options. So seems pretty much inline with the other F150 models.

Anyway, aren’t we always hearing about how dated our electrical infrastructure is across the country? Just wait till you can only plug in and and charge up at certain times. Or if a natural disaster hit and lost power for days on end.

All Fords got a price increase for 2023, I think they already went up in price for 2022 since the beginning of the year.

EV prices are the reason for the price increase on gas vehicles.
