I used to stop at a store in Caswell County that only had a huge wood stove for heat, hoop cheese and the glass jars full of candy. The wood floors were so warped, you could snap an ankle if you weren't careful. No gas pumps , just friendly folks.

I grew hunt hunting in Caswell County, near Hyco lake just above the prison in Yanceyville.

Leave me alone in most circumstances. Sometimes I'm tired, sometimes I wanna do what I wanna do, sometimes I don't want to be around people. But that's not 100% of the time. I do like meeting people and hanging out with certain people.

Same. Being on WFH duty for a while, I came to realize I enjoy having in-person coworkers, etc. But if I had to take over for our sales guy and do customer calls, vendor shows, etc... I think I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a ballpoint pen.

I'm salary so I get paid either way. Downside is there's still an expectation my ish gets done one way or the other and I'm a department of one, so it just means more for me to do in a day.

As far as trade shows that is one of those places I loved talking with people.

I loved the Shot Show even with all 3 days I never saw everything I wanted.

How'd you get a SHOT invitation? I've been trying to finagle one for a while but am very far outside the industry, so it hasn't been a cakewalk.

Generally, Just leave me alone and let me work, or let me relax. I enjoy my family, and that's about it. I realized this as I watched "That 70's show." When I was younger, of course, I wanted to fit in and feel cool. Now, as a parent, I completely sympathize with Red. Most everyone is a Dumbass!

Long long time ago I think it was in 1986 . I can only guess things have changed . After all it was when dealers got the best deals and committed for a years worth of purchases in those days.

I had been having thoughts of going into Gunsmithing on a full time basis processing all the paper work some of the local gun dealers said Why don`t you go to the shot show so I did.

It so happens a good Mill Wright job came up so I pushed things back then the time just was never right .
