I’ve made several of these through the years, never seen one after it left the shop. They brought two back for rebuild today

I'd like to hear how a 22 Tundy ended up at a Chevy dealer.

They probably got it on a dealer trade by the same owner. People are interested in the Tundy, but can get a "better deal" on a new cheby

It is sawdust and it is for fabric. They stretch the fabric over wood and staple it. I'm guessing their dust collection system has been down for some time

That whole selling demos as new truck prices pisses me off. Its got 1,315 miles on it, it's not new no matter how much they want it to be.
As for me I'm dancing with who brung ya, happier n a pig in mud, etc about the 12.4 mpg my blackerado is getting, not looking at trucks at all. I do have a $220 tpsensor I'm about to have to eat

Yeah my 2013 taco is at 72k miles. I’ve been pretty fortunate so far but it’s coming due soon on some more maintenance stuff. Hopefully nothing else comes up lol.

Unfortunately I sent it about .050” too deep on the first one and killed it.

Got it the 2nd time, had to have a small flat on the bottom instead of full angle.

Have you done, or are you going to do, a transmission fluid flush? My 2012 has 52,000 miles and I’m trying to figure out what to start with. I need to get the owners manual out and check the 10 year mark and make a list.

    Beautiful little unit.

Although often seen with a bulldozer attachment (often hodge-podge) they were intended to be a tracked tractor and are geared too high for heavy dozer work.

Seems I have read there were companies who marketed auxiliary transmissions to slow them down.

I’d love to have one but it would be like 90% of the other stuff in the shed and just sit :anonymous:

Since I bought the truck in 2019 I haven't bought anything for a project with the exception of the Wisconsin engines. Fortunately they are fairly small.

I have so many "need to do" items I don't have much go power left for the "want to do" stuff.

A real solution is to move some of these projects on to someone with more energy. :(

EDIT: Or get a bigger garage...

I’ve been thinking about having a yard sale but don’t want to deal with the low ballers.

    Exactly.
A good yard sales is a lot of work too.

I'm (very slowly) cleaning out the family homestead, most of the yard sale type items are just going to the goodwill, it just isn't worth the frustration to me to come away with $40 after an all day extravaganza.
