This spot is on my list of places to check out. I have a pin dropped at the end of that road. It looks like we'll have to check that out next weekend. :)

Yes, @Taco-Grinder , tell us more. :anonymous:

Maybe they'd like to join us on a trail run. :notsure:

Joking aside, they'd be welcome to come along on the trails, camping, whatever. Just let us know so we can be sure we have room.

It already looks like you are going to have to get a site that bigger than the last time.

We talked about getting the other site just northeast of the one we've been staying at. I think it's almost the same size. It should almost double our space.

But, so far only 7 are confirmed camping, which I believe we've fit on that site before.

The wife and I should arrive up there between 11am and noon on Fri. If folks be out wheeling we can meet up on the trails.

Tried to find that several years ago with my son. Had no maps, just going off memory. Really cool. Haven't been there since the early '80s, wouldn't mind finding it again. From up top, you can see a loooong way.

I am going to talk to my dispatch tomorrow about the possibility of getting out "early" on Friday. "Early" would be possibly 4:30-5 as opposed to the 6:30-7 that has been the norm for the past couple of months. Still, by the time I ride home, shower and get on the road, it'll probably still be nearly sunset before I get to Bear Paw.

It appears to be one mile east of the pipeline, about a mile north of Shay Lake.
I'll print out a nice sized map for planning purposes.

I'm thinking about going on scoping it out early on Friday. If we find anything, we can return with the whole group on Saturday.

Good chance we will still be putzing around and bullshitting.

I have the spot marked on my map. I've actually been wanting to go down that road and see what is down there for a little while now.
