56hrs of labor later and this forking sunuva biscuit eater is finally done

    20220811_143649.jpg

Had to completely remove and pin out the wiring harness because it came in with a no start issue. 30 some hrs diagnostic work and electrical repair allowed me to start the unit.. only to have the flow valve not work, throttle cable not work and damn near out of hydraulic oil:bananadead:

If I had a pressure washer here at work I would've lol. Boss doesn't like to have us fix stuff (cause he hates charging the customer for total time) so we have almost no provisions to be an actual repair facility.

Best freekin believe imma gunna charge accordingly and repair correctly when I have my own shop lol

Diesel tank was almost as empty as the hydraulic tank actually.

But that wasn't the issue, fixed a half dozen broken harness grounds and replaced frozen starter and corroded neg battery cable. That got it to run, but then it only made 13GPM when it should make 28GPM so there was even more work after getting it to start

Thanks, I really love fixing stuff and, even tho I swear constantly during the work, I enjoy keeping old shit alive. Plus in my mind 5k + in labor and almost 2k in parts is significantly cheaper than buying a new, similar machine at around 40k.

This particular guy was made in 2011 so it's been around the block a time or two lol. Not sure total hours of operation cause this was the tach when it came in:laughing:20220811_152015.jpg

I'm sure it actually has at least twice as many hours
