Told my wife if something happens to her I'm renting a Dempster dumpster and chucking all this crap.

 

I needed a dumpster 2 moves ago but they wouldnt deliver up the hill we lived on

 

Even free day is not what it used to be. Until recently it was someone who would pick up a Kids bike or a stroller or something. Now it’s just a bunch of wandering thieves. Lost my good extension ladder a couple years back. It was nowhere near the Free stuff. Never Again.

 

Around here no one will take free stuff. But if you put a sign saying 25 bucks , they will steal it.

 

Learning something new… I’ve known them as Dempsey Dumpsters… looked up Dempster Dumpster and saw Knoxville and said… “Oh, regional vendor.” Then looked up Dempsey Dumpster and saw “Dempsey Dumpsters, technically called ‘Dempster Dumpsters’, were the original large-scale trash bin designed in 1935 by George Dempster.”

 

So my old Chief texted me and said he retired today instead of his planned February exit. Between him and I that's 50 years of experience out the door!

 

Coulda been a mighty Big bread pan if it went the other way.

 

Not yet, my plan is to get the transmission done next spring summer. 52k is low!

Those are roll-offs to me.
I’ve been thinking about “Dempsey Dumpster” and I got that name though my father. He wasn’t one to make things up (PE-EE), so I’m guessing it came from either his professional career or his prior military (AF). He wasn’t stationed anywhere near NC, but I know we went there as kids several times (my mother wanted a house in the Asheville area in the late 70s).

 

Thanks for asking, she's hanging in there ok but the poor condition is getting to her mentally. Not terribly bad but yesterday and day before I've spent taking her to various Dr appointments and a couple of times she was just crying.
The entire ordeal feels a bit taxing to me as well but she's my wife and doing my best hold everything together.
Today is my first (and last) day at work, I've burned my last day of family medical and had to use 20 hrs vacation.
I just hope they can figure out what's going on!
Sometimes suspicious me feels like medical care they just milk as much money as they can..I know that's not right though...I don't think

Whenever you feel that way, ask the doctor “Is this curative or palliative care?” This simply means is this to fix (get better) or just get through (make you FEEL better). At least this way you know what is going on.
