Any suggestions on getting the Sport Hood look for my 2010 Tacoma. Was looking at buying a new Tacoma, but figured since I had only 113,000 on my 2010 I would just spruce it up some. Also thinking about replacing the radio with one that had Bluetooth. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would go even further and do the front end conversion to the 2012-2015. IMO, those year models have the best looking front end and doing a conversion isn't a difficult process if you can source used parts for Tacomas.

I put off updating my 6 disc stock radio until a trip to north Texas about a year ago. That day long trip there and then another day back convinced me it was time for a change. At that time most brand name head units were more $$ than I wanted to spend. After weighting out the pros and cons I decided on a Joying HU.

Tinker is right, if you don't mind tinkering with settings or options the Joying HU is a good option. Then as all good tinkerers do, they begin tweaking with different launchers.

You can look on your local marketplaces like Craigslist, Facebook, offer up and see if anyone is selling a 2005-2011 Tacoma sport hood. Or maybe they are parting out a Tacoma with a good hood.

here in Sacramento, I see a lot of 2005-2011 Tacoma sport hoods for sale. Barely see any 2012-2015, which is what I need.

I was in the same boat as you earlier this year and did exactly what you said, I recommend it. I didn't get the sport hood but easily could have, and the radio is so simple to change and with so many benefits I couldn't believe I didn't do it years ago.

There is a trade thread on here somewhere that may find some traction. There are always people looking for sport hoods and a select few looking to go the other route. I was considering it but only because the hood I wanted was only offered in a scoop version (Seibon carbon)
