@fatfurious2 those are pretty badass too but not very useful. We used river jet boats like I posted to get to all kinds of cool and inaccessible places in Alaska for fishing and hunting. All you need is a couple inches of water and you're good to go.

Will the Honda be priced like the t7? I can see them putting the parallel twin from the nc750x in with some heavy frame and knobbies

We’ve done 3 mulit-day motorcycle camping trips in the last year and didn’t pack serious food/cooking supplies.

One stop for brunch, one stop for dinner, one stop for beer/snacks before heading to camp site. Take a big empty water proof bag, works well strapped to a seat as a “cooler” to hold beer and ice.

I haven't personally moto camped but have lots of FJR friends that do. Seems the common thing among them is to try to get your campsite somewhat early and set up tents then one person will run back out for food while the other stays at camp and gathers firewood, gets water, starts fire, etc. Seems to work well for those that do it.

I would totally moto camp if I had an adventure bike with storage.

One of our family friends has a monster of an old speedboat that he had built while he was on deployment. Was working with the engine shop to get 350hp out of it, but overshot a little and is pumping out 415hp if I remember right. Its 400+ I know for sure. Throws 100ft rooster tails off the back at full gas.

Ah man, I miss my '71 Tahiti 19 ft low profile jet. Had a 460 in it. So many things I wish I had never gotten rid of.

    None... yet.
So... I am currently attempting to get the handlebar brake light actuator (is there a shorter term for this?) working. Right now, the brake light only activates with the foot brake. Not a HUGE issue but kinda annoying and I hate having to use the foot brake every single time. Anyway, I initially thought the actuator was bad but found out that, no, the PO intentionally cut the wiring because... when you connect the wire that is cut (see pic), it causes the brake light to stay on unless... you pull the hand brake lever, in which case the light goes off and the foot brake does nothing, i.e. the brake light remains on whether I depress the lever or not. upload_2022-8-12_16-25-54.gifupload_2022-8-12_16-25-54.gif

Have I mentioned how much I hate electrical issues? upload_2022-8-12_16-25-54.gif Hoping someone has a suggestion as to what a complete idiot's next steps might be to figure this out...

Oh, and I tried switching which side the female side connected to and it still did the same thing...

Not sure if this will help you or not. I know from time at the Harley dealership their front brake switch like you have in your hand required a certain amount of air space between the actuator pin and the hand lever. Some cheap aftermarket levers were poorly machined and didn't allow that gap causing an "always on" brake light. Does this bike have aftermarket levers on it? Make sure they fit like OEM.

Sounds like the replacement switch is wired for normally closed when it needs to be a normally open switch. Is it a generic aftermarket part or OEM?

Edit: if you have a multimeter do a continuity test across the two pins, if there's continuity then its wired normally closed, which would be weird to me
