    After ordering an AG TE in March, it being built on May 25th, and it sitting there with no updates from my dealer, I found this 2 days ago, on the lot, available, picked it up yesterday. I want to drive it through the damn showroom window at my other dealer and get my deposit back. This one doesn't have the dumb Predator steps, has the trail rail I like better. 46k with all their dumb add on crap and a 2k markup, got them to up my trade by 2.5k and got a gift card and fancy floor mats to offset. 6 months of BS, then to find and get this in 2 days. I'm happy AF now.

    what are them there trail rails? Didn’t see that as an add on option, looks killer and I like how discrete they are compared to steps…

    I just did the builder on toyota.com, they are really called just 'Trail Rail' My original order had the Predator Steps, those are just going to get bashed up offroad. I saw a truck yesterday on the road with the drive rear step smashed almost flat. I really prefer the rail I got. My coworker is jealous of mine, he has the steps.

    Should have worded it better. I meant that there are no tacoma trims that have the 285s from factory. I think I saw the video you're referring to and they just made a mistake.

    thanks! I supposed the journalist was wrong.. wanted to check… what I do see is that that one inch on the trail edition looks great.. and tires look bigger imo…

    Trail Editions come with 265/65R16 Goodyear Territory A/T's. Really solid tire for how much they cost. There are better options, but it's a solid tire from the factory.
