Cast Iron can crack if you just look at it wrong!

Then because some foundries have there own secret formulas things are always exciting .

pre and post heat treatment never hurt.

I am just the opposite metal work is good Try anything with Wood it is only good to burn.

If it is NOT meant for Fire Wood I don`t touch it.

I think metal studs was the best idea ever.

image.jpg This is the only thing I’m allowed to carry while at work. Doesn’t have much range, but it’s accurate!

Looks familiar only if I turn it upside down & hang it 15’ in the air over a screamin’ chiller or boiler. Then we’re talkin’. By the time you’re done you wanna terminate yourself but the lack of blood to your head stops you.

My next project is an old Ditch Witch trencher I got for cheap. It's got a Wisconsin on it, pull start. No spark, gonna have to dig into the Magneto. I'll edit post with a picture in a minute.

I work for a heavy civil contractor in PHX. My cost on the concrete alone is $1k. So forms, finishing, and any internal steel... That's not out of line. About two or three years ago, the mud would have cost $525

Could you sandwich it in fiberglass insulation to slow it down?

The noise harmonics are the killer. Jaws hurt, you can feel every piece of dental work & of course the sweat is runnin’ into your eyes. Did I say I love field work. :)

Any Chlorine (there’s lots) in the air immediately heads for water. Likes to attack mucus membranes. Like I got any left.

    Cool little walk behind unit!

Looks like the data plate is still on the blower housing, model is probably an AEN, rated around 9hp.

Appears to be a gear unit on the output too.
You can buy an engine manual on e-bay for a little cash, say $20. Don't fall for someone saying it is a "rare" book, they aren't.

Some are originals others reprints which are all right if is a high quality transfer.
