You may can bend it close then cut some out and weld it back together and grind the welds off to the exact shape you need

I'm not recommending this one by any means but you're probably right with using a roller instead of a bender.

It says up to 2" but I'd be leery just because of where it's from.

LOL... I'd just rather the time I'm trying to learn would not been with material that costs $9.00 per foot and is going to replace my fenders.

This is something that is eventually will get done. I'm just in the "how am I going to go about doing this stupid shit" phase right now.

This phase would be more for more tire clearance though.

Build yourself a template. You'll be surprised by what you can do.

Actually already have a template. (in theory)

I'm pretty much trying to get the outer side of the bend to follow the outer side of the fender flares. Using 1.75 tubing and the majority of the fender flares being 4 inches, the difference would give me a little bit over 2 inches to cut for clearance on my fenders.

I'd probably trace the flares on to some thin plywood or cardboard. Then it would be a matter of getting the tubing to follow the curve.

Well in typical DMV fashion, I get some pissed off lady that says I can’t take my M1 test because my bike is under 150cc. I pull out the DMV booklet and say this is a Motor Driven Cycle and that requires an M1 and all she says is that “well you can’t take it” because you can’t take this on the freeway. I’m like OK And?? I need an M1 to legally drive this on the streets so why can’t I take the test?

All I get in response is “you can’t take it”

asking for the supervisor bc this shit is ridiculous.

I’m waiting for the supervisor. Said what’s the point in having a classification for M1 for motor driven cycle if you can’t even take the test for it. They didn’t have an answer. Told em I’m not trying to be difficult but I’m literally using what’s in your handbook to get a point across

Thanks sir - they tested me in a way that I didn't practice but glad I've got enough butt time and slow maneuvering to do everything correctly!
