I jumped on the auto up/down window switches myself! You can do the entire job without removing the door panel in less than 5 minutes but I also replaced the door actuator motor that stopped working 2 years ago so I just did everything at once. 8151576D-3E6E-417B-A0AF-BE1F43F42928.jpg 0D8B61A4-15C5-41D6-B00E-AB77E2E66D2D.jpg

The 05-11 has a different layout for the lock/unlock button and the window lock button.

You could probably get the whole thing and just import the passenger switch

you probably can. If you can do the fab work for the leafs and shock mounts, you should be fine. You will most likely need a new driveshaft too.

I have no idea what a g80 locker is, but sounds pretty good

What doesn't play nice? Don't both of these just plug into the factory locations ?

Both are plug and play, but don’t work together. That was with MESO dual colour dome and map. Maybe single colour would work?

I was on the phone with VLEDS tech support today 3 times and we couldn’t get them to work. Hoping I’ll be able to return the Vleds.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up, I have the footwell lights and was just about to order the dual color map.

Yea save yourself the trouble. You can probably rig something up, but these don’t plug and play together.

I got the XM antenna permanently mounted. It's the first step in getting my interior back together.
I had to find a washer that was the correct size but thin enough because of the thickness of the dashboard plastic.
I found one at a local hardware store called a "machine bushing".

They are the same but some wires are in different locations. Need to repin. Also need a new bezel from 12-15
Different connectors on ac. Maybe use a few of the passenger side buttons and replace them in your existing setup.

I want to do this also but not looking for another wiring project right now.

@HAVOC , did the leg work to find out why it's not plug n play for the rest of us

Not going to quote every post, but regarding the auto up/down window switches that lit this thread up the past week:

Ordered this past Tuesday evening, received yesterday (friday), so 3 or 4 days, depending on how many of those you count as "days" :) .

Install was 5 minutes, as Karate1993 said. No need to take off the entire door panel just for the switches...whoever made the video they feature on their website did it the hard way, there is plenty of room to release the forward end, then pull forward and take it out and plenty of wire to work.

Wiring connector was a little tight, but that's probably because it's been there for 7 years...I had to get a screwdriver to push the little button and pry outward at the same time, but it was ok. I never had a thought I was going to break anything, it was just more than my fingers could do.

As with anything, time will tell on quality but at this moment all the windows go auto up and auto down. Did have a little scare for about 3 seconds...don't forget to unlock the windows. BTW, that's kind of a stupid feature...I've had cars with window locks, but I've never seen one that locked out the driver's controls too.

Anyhow, so far so good. To the person who said it could be next weekend's project...you better plan something else along with this if you want a project day...seriously 5 minutes, if that.

Just waiting on the lights so I can weld those tabs on and paint. Had to reuse an old piece of skid until I can get to the metal store. Hence the extra holes in the upper skid.

The uptop overland rack resulted in little to no wind noise. I have the front faring with no light cutouts and it is nice and quiet.
