Sorry! It is still just the four ECU IDs noted in the 1st Post.

There is another update coming, but it does not list any new 2.7l ECU IDs: vF Tuner noted that he was purchasing the ECU IDs that were identified here but don't have support. So, that might take a while?

We still need to identify that last ECU ID to complete the list.

    Thanks!

Confirmed. Sorry, folks. No new ECUs added with this latest vF release. I will keep monitoring the situation.

    Thanks!

I’m new to all of this and I’m not the most knowledgeable person when. But is is there a tune I can get for my Tacoma it’s a 2019 2.7 tss and I’m getting kinda tired of the cruise control issue

Depending on whether your cruise control issue is with hunting or with hanging up in too low of a gear, you can use S mode to alleviate the situation - provided you don't mind interacting with the truck.

If you're experiencing "hunting" (frequent shifting), just throw it in S mode, set it to S5, and if downshifts (rpm goes up) shift to S4. If it downshifts again, shift to S3. Repeat until hunting stops. Once you can visually tell the road conditions have changed, shift up a gear. If it starts hunting again, downshift back to a lower gear. If it seems happy, you can try upshifting again. Repeat as needed. This is what I do and it works for me. If you drive the same roads you learn what S gear you need to be in to prevent hunting.

Often when in D my Tacoma gets "hung up" in 5th gear, meaning it can and should shift to 6th, but it doesn't. This happens more often with cruise control turned on. Shifting to S mode and setting S6 usually makes it finally go into 6th gear, but it will go to 4th very briefly as the starting point for S mode is S4. Some Tacomas get hung up in lower gears like 3rd or 4th, and that is much more annoying. That's never happened to me, so I can't 100% guarantee this will help but I can infer that it will based on my limited experience.

I use S mode 100% of the time. I like to have some input while driving. I've got 25,000 miles on my truck now and I think it drives leaps and bounds better than when it was new.

anyone know if the "AI-SHIFT" learning in 'D' gets input from how you drive in s-mode? or is it only in D? what about ECT mode? if you use ECT mode a lot does it effect the learned behavior in D?

I used ECT with S mode all the time for about 15,000 miles give or take. Now I don't use ECT at all anymore. I have no knowledge if it affected how my truck drives now. I've said this before, for me personally the biggest improvement in drivability was adding a throttle amplifier. I don't have to put the gas pedal through the floor board to get it to respond.

Which device do you have pedal commander? That is probably the most excited thing I am when tunes start to become available adjusting the pedal sensitivity. I had a pedal commander but after a year and about 12k I started to get brake malfunction code pop up a quick search and it seems a lot of people have that problem overtime with them. I pulled it out and decided to just wait for a real tune but it’s taking a while lol

I bought one off fleabay called 9drive or something like that. It was vehicle specific. I've had it on well over a year now with no issues.
