They were the biggest crappie id ever caught, and very shallow for this time of year around 4 FOW.

 

damn, nice. we saw around a 2.5 yesterday but damn if he didnt slip away at the dock

 

Must be spawning time in SC. Does not happen here until early April.

 

I like watching Bluegill protect the nest from other fish along the shallow banks of out local favorite pond.

 

yes it is close but never been this early in the season, they were all full of eggs.

has anyone ever had someone come up to you thinking you were trying to jack their car for looking at it? I had one the other day. Was checking out this really nice Shelby in a parking lot. Was getting ready to take a picture of it to send here and the owner came busting out the store door yelling at me to get away. lol I explained I really liked the restore job on it.. He was like... oh... yeah... thanks...

 

Like last year me and a buddy was checking out this sexy nova at home depot one night not touching it or anything! The guy worked at the store and had parked it in the pick up area so everyone could see it right! so we are walking around it the guy comes flying out yelling at us and my buddy was like chill and the dude got in his face next thing you know my buddy KO him in the parking lot and them told him sorry lol true story

Not yet, but I don't linger for too long.....it's more about having a status symbol around here, not too many people driving completely restored classics that are approachable.

Used to go to car shows a lot, but there's always the same 100 cars at all the shows. When I do go, there's always a few guys there who you can tell worked their butts off to restore the car themselves. You know the kind of car...the paint job is nice...but not quite perfect. Those are the guys I go out of my way to compliment. Too many goofballs with too much money and a list of who did what on everything on their car....their names not on it.

 

I always thought it was "look, but don't touch".......apparently it's possible to scratch cars with your eyeballs now. Drive something that nice and people are going to look. Although, I do have a family member who literally will not let his Mach One Mustang out of his sight. But, he's had it 30 years, restored it twice, knows every bolt on it and has had to let it sit for years at a time to come up with the money to put it back together. Won't start a fight over you looking at his car, but he will come outside and watch you look.

 

I know right if it was my car I would be like you want to see the eng ect you know I guess some people are jus dick heads

I have heard bad things about those but some people like them I guess kinda cool
